Good Smile Company's Nendoroid line brings Alex DeLarge from Stanley Kubrick's landmark film A Clockwork Orange. Nendoroid number 1270 transforms the iconic antihero into the chibi-style aesthetic the line is known for. Alex DeLarge is the charismatic and violent protagonist of A Clockwork Orange, a 1971 dystopian crime film based on Anthony Burgess's novel. Leading his gang of "droogs" through acts of ultraviolence, Alex is eventually captured and subjected to the Ludovico Technique, an experimental aversion therapy that strips him of his free will. The film explores themes of behavioral conditioning, state control, and the nature of choice. Alex's distinctive look—bowler hat, false eyelashes, and white outfit—has become one of cinema's most recognizable visual signatures. The Nendoroid stands approximately 100mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. Sculpted by Shichibee with cooperation from Nendoron, it includes a stand for display. The figure was released in July 2020 with a retail price of 4,800 yen.
