Banpresto presents Haruna from Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova as a Kyun-Chara figure in the Ichiban Kuji lineup. Standing approximately 10 cm tall, this ABS and PVC figure captures one of the series' Mental Model characters. Arpeggio of Blue Steel is set in a near-future world where rising sea levels have submerged much of Earth's landmass. A mysterious fleet of sentient warships known as the Fleet of Fog appeared and decimated human naval forces, establishing a blockade that cut humanity off from the seas. The story follows Gunzou Chihaya and his crew aboard the I-401 submarine, the only Fog vessel to defect to the human side. Haruna is one of the Fleet of Fog's Mental Models, humanoid avatars that the Fog battleships use to interact with the physical world. Like other Mental Models, she develops her own personality and emotions throughout the series, exploring what it means to be human. This Kyun-Chara figure was produced as part of Banpresto's Ichiban Kuji lottery system dedicated to the Arpeggio of Blue Steel: Ars Nova franchise.
