Toy's Works presents Chiyochichi from the comedy anime and manga series Azumanga Daioh in this prepainted figure from their Hoshizora (starry sky) variant line. The figure features the peculiar yellow cat-like creature in one of several color variants produced by Toy's Works. Chiyochichi is a bizarre feline creature that appears in the dreams of characters Sakaki and Osaka, claiming to be the father of the child prodigy Chiyo Mihama. It trembles violently and changes color when angered, and has variously claimed to be bulletproof, a skilled baseball player, and even Santa Claus. Osaka gifts Chiyo a Chiyochichi plush toy for her birthday. The creature is unsure whether it is actually a cat, dislikes the color red, and maintains the same facial expression at all times, never closing its mouth. In the English dub, it is referred to as Father Cat. This Hoshizora variant is one of multiple Chiyochichi figures released by Toy's Works, which also produced versions in light green, white, and striped patterns.
