The Skull Knight is one of the most enigmatic and ancient figures in the Berserk universe, a mysterious armored warrior who has existed for over a millennium. Once a human king who wore the Berserker Armor, he now opposes the God Hand and the Idea of Evil from the shadows. He frequently intervenes to aid Guts, the series' protagonist, appearing at critical moments such as the Eclipse to rescue Guts and Casca from the sacrificial ritual.
