Berserk, created by Kentaro Miura, is a dark fantasy manga following Guts, a mercenary known as the Black Swordsman who wages an unrelenting war against demonic apostles and the godlike beings known as the God Hand. The Berserker Armor is a cursed suit that grants its wearer immense power by removing subconscious limits on the body, but at the cost of severe physical damage and the risk of being consumed by an inner beast. The Skull Helmet version represents the armor's most iconic and terrifying visual state, where the helmet takes on a skull-like appearance as Guts loses himself to the armor's influence.
