Toynami's Chii figure is based on the beloved manga and anime series Chobits, created by the renowned creative group CLAMP. Sculpted by Tanabe Shin, this PVC action figure represents one of the earliest collectible iterations of the character from the property's merchandise lineup. Chobits follows the story of Hideki Motosuwa, a young man who discovers an abandoned persocom—a personal computer shaped like a human—whom he names Chi. As Hideki helps Chi learn about the world, he gradually uncovers the mystery behind her origins and the deeper implications of human-robot relationships. The series explores themes of love, consciousness, and what it means to be human, with Chi's innocent curiosity and hidden past driving the narrative. Toynami produced multiple Chii figures including standard, Black Party Dress, and Pink Party Dress convention exclusive variants.
