Medicom Toy brings a piece of tokusatsu history to collectors with the Choujin Barom-1 Doruge Sentou-in Antman figure, part of the Toei Retro Sofubi Collection. This soft vinyl figure stands approximately 240mm tall and recreates one of the antagonist foot soldiers from the classic 1972 superhero television series. Choujin Barom-1 follows two youths who transform into the titular hero to battle the evil organization Doruge and its monstrous agents. The Antmen serve as Doruge's combat operatives, menacing the heroes throughout the series. The show is remembered as an early entry in the tokusatsu genre, predating many of the franchises that would follow, and vintage sofubi figures of its characters were originally produced by Bandai around the time of broadcast.
