About this figure

This soft vinyl figure from Medicom Toy depicts Kerageruge, a monster character from the classic tokusatsu series Choujin Barom-1. It is part of the Toei Retro Sofubi Collection in the Middle Size version, a line that celebrates iconic characters from Toei's rich history of television productions. Choujin Barom-1 is a 1972 tokusatsu superhero series produced by Toei, following two young men who transform into the composite hero Barom-1 to battle the evil organization Antler and its monstrous kaijin. Kerageruge is one of the many bizarre creatures that appear throughout the series, representing the distinctive creature designs that made Toei's tokusatsu productions memorable. The figure stands approximately 150mm tall and is made of soft vinyl material. It was released in April 2018 as part of the 62nd installment in the Toei Retro Sofubi Collection Middle series, which features pocket-sized renditions of classic Toei characters in a retro sofubi style.
