Good Smile Company and Sentinel collaborate to bring Convoy — known internationally as Optimus Prime — from Transformers into the Nendoroid line as the G1 Ver., figure number 1765. Standing approximately 110mm tall, the figure is made from ABS and PVC and was sculpted by Nendoron, Toyhouse, and Idomari Tatsuyuki. Transformers is the iconic franchise featuring sentient alien robots that can transform into vehicles and other objects. Convoy, or Optimus Prime, is the noble leader of the Autobots, fighting against the Decepticons to protect freedom across the galaxy. The G1 version specifically references the original Generation 1 design that debuted in the 1980s animated series, capturing the classic red and blue truck cab design that defined the character for generations of fans. The Nendoroid line reimagines characters in a chibi art style with interchangeable faces and accessories. Released in May 2022, this figure brings Optimus Prime's iconic design into a compact and expressive collectible format.
