A self-taught hacking prodigy known as "Radical Edward," she built a legendary reputation with wild rumors circulating about her true identity — some claimed she was an alien or a basketball player. After hacking the Bebop itself, she extorted Faye Valentine into making her a crew member, taking control of the ship when they tried to leave without her. Aboard the Bebop, she served as the crew's information specialist, tracking bounties and cracking systems, often alongside her constant companion Ein, the data dog.
