Medicom Toy's Vinyl Collectible Dolls line features Ryuuk from Death Note as entry No.89 at 1/6 scale. Ryuuk is the Shinigami, or death god, who drops the Death Note into the human world and sets the entire series in motion. With his unsettling grin and insatiable love of apples, Ryuuk serves as both observer and instigator, finding entertainment in the chaos caused by Light Yagami's use of the notebook. Death Note follows the cat-and-mouse game between Light Yagami, a genius student who uses the Death Note to kill criminals, and the detective L. Ryuuk accompanies Light throughout the story, visible only to those who have touched the Death Note, and provides darkly comic commentary on human nature and morality as events spiral beyond anyone's control. This 1/6 scale figure stands approximately 360mm tall and is made from soft vinyl. It was sculpted by Sawada Keisuke and originally released as a Medicom exclusive at 16,333 JPY. The figure features real material elements including a leather skirt, soft feather shoulder details, and a metal earring.
