About this figure
Nintendo Tokyo's exclusive statue series features characters from Doubutsu no Mori, the Japanese title for Animal Crossing. This set includes Mamekichi, Shizue (known internationally as Isabelle), and Tsubukichi as part of the Nintendo Tokyo Series collectible line. Doubutsu no Mori began as a Nintendo GameCube title released in Japan on December 14, 2001, developed by Nintendo EAD and directed by Katsuya Eguchi and Hisashi Nogami. The franchise is a life simulation game where players live in a village populated by anthropomorphic animal villagers, building relationships, decorating homes, and participating in seasonal events. Shizue serves as the player's helpful secretary in later entries, becoming one of the franchise's most recognizable characters. This statue is an exclusive product from Nintendo Tokyo, the official Nintendo store in Japan, and represents part of their dedicated merchandise line featuring beloved Nintendo characters in charming, display-ready formats.
