Plex, under their Zeem brand, brings Imperfect Cell to the Dragon Ball Arise figure series. This line has previously featured characters such as Zarbon, Saichoro, and Raditz, with Cell joining as a notable addition to the growing collection of Dragon Ball Z figures. Imperfect Cell represents the first form of the bio-engineered android created by Dr. Gero's computer. After years of development, Cell hatches in his larval state and eventually absorbs enough life force to reach this humanoid but insectoid form. Driven by an obsessive desire to achieve perfection, Imperfect Cell stalks the Z Fighters and civilians alike, absorbing them through his distinctive tail to increase his power. This form is characterized by a more bestial, predatory nature compared to his later, more composed evolutions. The Dragon Ball Arise series by Plex is distributed through Premium Bandai and focuses on delivering detailed sculpts of Dragon Ball characters. A Self-Destruct Version of Cell has also been announced for the same line.
