Bandai Spirits' Ichiban Kuji line presents Super Saiyan Son Goku from Dragon Ball Z in the Senshi Battle Retsuden Z series, sculpted under the SCultures banner. This figure captures Goku in his legendary Super Saiyan transformation. Dragon Ball Z follows Goku as he defends Earth against increasingly powerful threats, from the Saiyan invasion to the battle against Majin Buu. The Super Saiyan transformation, first achieved during the fierce battle against Frieza on Planet Namek, represents a legendary warrior form that appears once in a thousand years among the Saiyan race. Goku's golden hair and aura in this state symbolize the rage and determination that pushed him beyond his limits after the death of his friend Krillin. The Senshi Battle Retsuden Z theme celebrates these iconic warrior forms. Sculpted by Nakazawa Hiroyuki of SCultures the TAG, the figure stands approximately 155mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC.
