This figure depicts Evangelion Unit-02 from the Rebuild of Evangelion film series, produced by Wasa. EVA-02 is one of the most recognizable mecha designs from the Evangelion franchise, known for its distinctive red and orange color scheme and combat-oriented design. Evangelion Unit-02 is the third Evangelion completed and the first Production Model, designed to rectify mistakes made during the construction of Prototype Unit-00 and Test Type Unit-01. It is piloted primarily by Asuka Langley Sohryu and briefly by Kaworu Nagisa. In the Rebuild of Evangelion films, Unit-02 receives a redesigned appearance with more human-like body proportions, reduced shoulder pylon size, and a narrower head shape compared to the original TV series version. Unit-02 is unique among Evangelions for having bluish-purple blood, blue-gray skin, and four fiery orange eyes. The Rebuild version eliminates the helmet-popping mechanism found in the original design and removes the armor blades on the lower arms. The figure stands approximately 130mm tall and is constructed from ABS, POM, and PVC materials. It is manufactured by Wasa and represents the Evangelion Unit-02 as it appears in the Evangelion Shin Gekijouban film series.
