Wasa presents the Evangelion Unit-08 from the Rebuild of Evangelion film series, standing approximately 130mm tall and constructed from ABS, POM, and PVC materials. Evangelion Production Model Custom Type-08α is piloted by Mari Makinami Illustrious and belongs to the WILLE organization. The unit sports a distinctive pink color scheme with white trim and yellow details, setting it apart visually from other Evangelion units. Its helmet features three horns aimed slightly backward with eight individual neon green eyes on the front. Unit-08 was first deployed during Operation US in Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, where it served as a support unit alongside Asuka's Unit-02'β against the Evangelion Mark.04. Mari insisted that Asuka take the lead role in the operation for Shinji's sake. The unit is compatible with support weapons including a sniper rifle. In Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time, Unit-08α makes its final onscreen appearance emerging from a beach as Mari says goodbye.
