Kotobukiya presents Makinami Mari Illustrious from the Evangelion Shin Gekijouban film series in her Plug Suit Style at 1/7 scale. This figure was sculpted by character designer Sadamoto Yoshiyuki alongside Uzou, capturing Mari in her distinctive test plug suit. Mari Illustrious is a mysterious Eva pilot introduced in the Rebuild of Evangelion films. Unlike the other pilots, she approaches her role with enthusiasm and a fearless attitude in battle. The figure includes her helmet as a separate piece that can be displayed in her hand or alongside her. The sculpt features precise paint application from the numbers on her chest to the soles of her feet, with shading on the legs giving the suit a worn, lived-in appearance. The cables are sculpted with particular care, and the helmet is fully detailed on all sides, including interior padding. Standing approximately 250mm tall, the figure is constructed from ABS and PVC and retailed at 7,800 JPY.
