SEGA's LPM Figure line presents Makinami Mari Illustrious from the Rebuild of Evangelion film series. This figure captures the enigmatic Eva pilot in a striking pose with vibrant detailing. Mari is a confident and eccentric EVA pilot who first appears in Evangelion 2.0, piloting Provisional Unit-05 and later Unit-08. Unlike the other pilots, Mari embraces battle with enthusiasm and a love for the thrill of combat, often wearing her glasses even inside the entry plug. She remains one of the most mysterious characters in the Rebuild tetralogy, with her true motivations and background largely kept hidden throughout the films, including the final installment Evangelion 3.0+1.0. The figure stands approximately 220mm tall and was sculpted by Fire Yamamoto and Arakawa Takahiro. It is part of SEGA's LPM (Luminous Paint Model) figure series, which features premium paint applications and detailing.
