About this figure
Max Factory's 1/8 scale Emiya Kiritsugu in his Zero version captures the protagonist of Fate/Zero, the prequel to Fate/stay night. Standing approximately 220mm tall and sculpted from PVC by Kawabata Kazuo, this refined reissue was priced at ¥6,476. Kiritsugu Emiya, known as the Magus Killer, is a pragmatic and ruthless assassin who enters the Fourth Holy Grail War seeking to use its wish-granting power to end all human conflict. His methods stand in stark contrast to traditional magi, employing firearms and modern warfare tactics alongside his magecraft. His relationship with his Servant Saber is defined by ideological conflict, as his utilitarian worldview clashes with her chivalric ideals. The figure depicts Kiritsugu glaring over his shoulder in a pose based on key visual artwork from the original novels. He holds his signature Thompson Contender pistol, which can be swapped for a cigarette using included replacement hand parts. The figure's stand can also be connected with the separately sold Saber/Zero Refined Ver., allowing the master and servant to be displayed together.
