Kaiyodo, in collaboration with Xebec Toys, produced this PVC figure of Canti from the OVA series FLCL (Fooly Cooly). Standing at approximately 105mm tall, the figure was sculpted by Satou Taku and Toukaimura Genpachi and retailed for 2,800 JPY. FLCL is a surreal coming-of-age anime that follows Naota Nandaba, a young boy whose mundane life is upended when the mysterious Haruko Haruhara crashes into him on a Vespa scooter. Canti is a robot character central to the series' chaotic narrative, serving as both a visual icon and a key player in the show's blend of sci-fi action and absurdist humor. The series, originally released as a six-episode OVA, gained a cult following for its frenetic animation style and layered storytelling. This figure captures Canti's distinctive design and remains a notable collectible from Kaiyodo's early 2000s output, reflecting the era's enthusiasm for FLCL merchandise.
