Bandai's Chibi-Arts line presents Haruhara Haruko from the anime series FLCL (Fooly Cooly) in a compact, stylized form standing approximately 100mm tall. Haruko is the central catalyst of the FLCL series, an extraterrestrial investigator for the Galactic Space Police Brotherhood who arrives in the town of Mabase searching for Atomsk, the most powerful space pirate in the galaxy. She famously runs over protagonist Naota Nandaba with her Vespa and strikes him with her bass guitar, setting the surreal events of the series in motion. She becomes the Nandaba household's maid while pursuing her true mission. Known for her erratic and unpredictable personality, Haruko shifts between playful, manipulative, and aggressive dispositions throughout the series. The Chibi-Arts format captures her in a deformed, cute style constructed from PVC. Her complex role as both a chaotic antagonist and occasional anti-hero makes her one of anime's most memorable characters.
