Rockdenasi Gangu presents Medama-Oyaji from the long-running supernatural manga and anime series Gegege no Kitaro as a sofubi figure. This collectible captures one of the most recognizable characters in Japanese yokai folklore media. Medama-Oyaji is Kitaro's father and a member of the Ghost Tribe. After his body decayed, only his eyeball remained, which he now inhabits as his physical form. Despite being described as "tinier than tiny" in body size, his spirit is said to be massive. He possesses extensive knowledge about yokai and can substitute his eyeball as needed. His favorite pastime is bathing in teacups, and his catchphrases include calling out "Oi! Kitarō!" and crying "To-ho-ho!" His family includes his son Kitaro and his wife Iwako. The character has been voiced by the late Isamu Tanonaka, who was noted as Medama-Oyaji's favorite voice actor, cementing the performer's legacy within the franchise.
