Ghost of Tsushima, developed by Sucker Punch Productions, is set on the Japanese island of Tsushima during the first Mongol invasion of Japan in 1274. Jin Sakai is a samurai who survives the devastating initial battle against the Mongol forces. As the traditional samurai code of honor proves insufficient against the overwhelming Mongol army, Jin adopts unconventional guerrilla tactics, becoming "the Ghost" — a figure that inspires both fear and hope among the island's people. His transformation from an honorable samurai to a ruthless ghost represents the game's central conflict between tradition and survival.
