Vane is a character from Cygames' Granblue Fantasy, a fantasy franchise set in a world where islands float in the sky and skyfarers travel between them aboard airships. The Granblue Fantasy story follows Gran, a boy who dreamed of becoming a skyfarer like his father, and Lyria, a girl with the ability to connect with Primal Beasts through a blue jewel. After Gran saves Lyria from the Erste Empire, a military government attempting to rule the world, they set out on a journey across the vast skies. Alongside Katalina, a former Empire lieutenant who rescued Lyria, and Vyrn, a lizard-like creature who insists he is a dragon, they seek Estalucia, the Island of the Astrals.
