This is a 1/6 scale statue from Kitsune Statue depicting the iconic boxing match between Makunouchi Ippo and Sendou Takeshi from the classic boxing manga and anime series Hajime no Ippo. The statue captures one of the greatest fights in the series, showing Ippo performing the Dempsey Roll. Hajime no Ippo follows the journey of Makunouchi Ippo, a shy high school student who discovers a talent for boxing. Sendou Takeshi is a featherweight professional boxer from the Naniwa Boxing Club and a former JBC featherweight champion. He initially served as an antagonist during the Rocky of Naniwa and Lallapallooza arcs before becoming a friendly rival to Ippo. Raised under his late firefighter father's words to protect those around him, Sendou seeks strength to help others, making him one of the series' most compelling characters. The statue stands approximately 200mm tall and is crafted from polyurethane, PVC, and resin. It was sculpted by Sacha Delon and Giacinto Platania, capturing the intensity of this legendary championship bout.
