Union Creative International Ltd presents Takahashi Kanade from the romantic comedy series Hatsukoi Monster (First Love Monster) as part of their Mens Hdge figure line. This collectible captures the titular character of the series in figure form. Kanade Takahashi is a kind, generous, and openhearted boy who rescues Kaho Nikaido from a moving vehicle in their first encounter, scolding her for being reckless. Despite having the appearance of a handsome high schooler, Kanade is actually a fifth grader, a secret he reveals to Kaho after she confesses her feelings. Before the events of the series, Kanade lost his mother two years prior, which left him a handful for his widowed father. He is known for his unkempt white hair, indigo eyes, and his habit of wearing a white hoodie with a paper reading "5-1" stuck to the front. The Hatsukoi Monster manga by Akira Hiyoshimaru was serialized in Kodansha's Aria magazine and received a 12-episode anime adaptation by Studio Deen in 2016.
