Good Smile Racing's 2016 Racing Miku iteration of Hatsune Miku joins the Nendoroid line as number 636. This figure represents the annual mascot design used by Good Smile Racing in their Super GT racing endeavors, with the 2016 version featuring character art directed by Koyama Shigeto with illustrations by Yoneyama Mai. Good Smile Racing has participated in Japan's Super GT series since 2008, with Hatsune Miku serving as the team's mascot in a new racing-themed outfit each year. The 2016 version continues this tradition, presenting the virtual idol in a fresh racing-inspired costume. Hatsune Miku herself originated as a Vocaloid voice synthesizer software developed by Crypton Future Media, becoming a global cultural icon through music, games, and merchandise. This non-scale articulated Nendoroid figure stands approximately 100mm tall and includes a stand. It was sculpted by Shinya Iguchi with cooperation from Nendoron and was released in December 2016.
