The series is a fantasy comedy set during an ongoing war between humanity's Imperial Army and the demonic Hell-hordes. The Princess, known as Hime, is the commander of the Third Order of the Imperial Army and a formidable fighter in her own right. However, she has been captured by the Hell-horde along with her holy sword Ex. Since conventional torture is prohibited by a prisoner of war treaty, the Hell-horde's Grand Inquisitor Torture Tortura employs unconventional interrogation methods, primarily tempting the Princess with delicious Japanese foods and snacks. Despite her combat prowess, Hime is a devoted food lover who consistently succumbs to these culinary tortures, though the information she reveals is usually trivial. Her sentient holy sword Ex frequently tries to keep her from giving in, but his efforts almost always fail. The anime adaptation, produced by Pine Jam, aired its first season from January to March 2024, with a second season following from January to March 2026.
