About this figure
Tsume presents Kokuoh and Raoh from Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken) as part of the HQS (High Quality Statue) lineup in 1/6 scale, titled King of Hokuto. Standing approximately 260mm tall, this figure is sculpted by Guillaume Hémery and Cyril Farudja. Kokuoh, whose name translates to Black King, is the titanic black horse that serves as the steed of Raoh, the self-proclaimed Ken-Oh (King of Fist). Said to be roughly the size of an elephant, Kokuoh is so large and powerful that Raoh uses the horse's might to crush those deemed unworthy of dying by his own hand. Only a select few—including Raoh, Juza, and later Kenshiro—have ever been able to ride Kokuoh. In the spinoff Ten no Haoh, Kokuoh is depicted as the leader of a wild horse herd, earning Raoh's respect after the conqueror euthanized a suffering foal. After Raoh's death, Kenshiro inherits Kokuoh as his own steed. This HQS figure captures the imposing presence of both Raoh and his legendary mount, reflecting the epic scale of the Hokuto no Ken narrative.
