Max Factory's figma line features Phosphophyllite from Houseki no Kuni, sculpted by Asai (APSY) Masaki. Made from ABS and PVC, this articulated figure captures the gemstone character with the posability that the figma line is known for. Phosphophyllite, commonly called Phos, is the protagonist of Houseki no Kuni, a series set in a distant future where the Earth is inhabited by gemstone-based life forms who defend themselves against the Lunarians who seek to harvest them. Phos begins as one of the weakest and most fragile gems, with a hardness of only 3.5, and is initially assigned to compile a natural history encyclopedia. Over the course of the story, Phos undergoes significant physical and psychological transformations as parts of their body are replaced with other materials, leading to profound changes in personality and perspective that raise questions about identity and purpose. The figure stands approximately 18cm tall and features Phos in their distinctive uniform with the character's signature aqua-colored crystalline hair.
