Dune presents a doujin figure of Hyoutantsugi, the iconic gag character from the works of legendary manga creator Tezuka Osamu. Standing approximately 180mm tall, this figure captures one of Tezuka's most unique creations. Hyoutantsugi, also known as Gourdski, was born from a mischievous drawing by Tezuka Osamu's younger sister. The character became a bizarre creature and gag character that would always appear out of the blue across Tezuka's manga, including major works like Black Jack and Buddha. Considered by enthusiasts to be the biggest star of Tezuka's manga despite being a background gag character, Hyoutantsugi influenced the creation of Akatsuka Fujio's Kemunpass and Tanioka Yasuji's Mujidori. Notably, the character also took a leading role in a novel rather than a manga, making it a priceless figure in the chronicles of Japanese manga history. Produced by Dune (now known as KAIEDA), this figure stands 180mm tall. Dune has been known for releasing collectible figures of classic characters, including the Unico line of soft vinyl figures.
