Nagatoro is the titular character of the romantic comedy series, a high school underclassman who delights in teasing her upperclassman, whom she calls Senpai. Her playful and sometimes relentless teasing masks a genuine affection that develops over the course of the story. The series revolves around the evolving dynamic between Nagatoro and Senpai, a shy art club member.
