Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun, known in English as Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun, follows the story of Hanako, the Seventh Wonder of Kamome Academy. Hanako is the ghost of a boy who haunts the third stall of the girls' bathroom and grants wishes for a price. Despite his youthful appearance, Hanako is a powerful supernatural being tasked with maintaining the balance between the living and spirit worlds. He is often seen with his haku-joudai, floating spirit companions, and wields a kitchen knife.
