Medicom Toy brings the Multi-Colored Sand Lizard to life as part of its Toei Retro Sofubi Collection, a line celebrating classic Toei tokusatsu productions. Based on the villain from Jinzou Ningen Kikaider (Android Kikaider), this soft vinyl figure stands approximately 240mm tall and features the character's distinctive multi-colored design. Android Kikaider is a 1972 tokusatsu series created by Shotaro Ishinomori, following the android Jiro as he battles the evil organization DARK. The Sand Lizard is one of the many destructive machines sent by DARK to eliminate Kikaider, and this figure captures the retro aesthetic of the show's iconic monster designs. The figure is produced as part of Medicom Toy's Toei Retro Sofubi Collection, which also includes characters from Inazuman and Kamen Rider series. Priced at 10,000 yen, it was planned for shipment in late September 2022 with an order deadline of June 30th, 2022. The sofubi construction faithfully reproduces the classic toy feel of vintage tokusatsu merchandise.
