TOKYO TOYS presents this monochrome black and white figure of Leo from Osamu Tezuka's classic series Jungle Taitei (Jungle Emperor). Standing approximately 135mm tall, this figure captures the iconic white lion in a timeless sculpt. Leo's story begins as a cub captured in Africa and separated from his mother during transport. Rescued by veterinarian Higeoyaji and his nephew Kenichi, Leo carries his mother's final words—"Go back to the jungle to protect your friends"—as he journeys back to Africa alongside an expedition searching for the Moonlight Stone, a mythical substance that could solve Earth's energy crisis. Along the way, they face the greedy hunter Ham Egg and treacherous terrain including glaciers, avalanches, and hostile wildlife. Years later, an adult Leo reunites with Kenichi to challenge an untrodden mountain. The black and white color scheme pays homage to the classic manga roots of Tezuka's pioneering work.
