Good Smile Company's Goukin line brings Shimakaze and her Rensouhou-chan companions from Kantai Collection ~KanColle~ to collectors as a premium alloy figure. Sculpted by Nendoron and Shirasaki Isao, this release showcases the ambitious engineering that defines the Goukin brand. Shimakaze is a personification of the Imperial Japanese Navy's Shimakaze-class destroyer, the fastest destroyer ever built by Japan. In KanColle, she is recognized by her distinctive long blonde hair, naval uniform, and her three Rensouhou-chan turret companions, small sentient gun turret characters that accompany her. The Rensouhou-chans are beloved by the fanbase for their adorable design, and Shimakaze herself is known for her incredible speed stats, reflecting the historical ship's record-breaking 40-knot top speed. Standing approximately 190mm tall, the figure is constructed from ABS, die-cast metal, and PVC. It features over 76 points of articulation, and each of the three included Rensouhou-chan figures can transform into a helmet, arm armor, leg armor, back armor, or a Rensouhou hammer.
