Enmu is a primary antagonist in the Mugen Train arc, serving as Lower Rank One of the Twelve Kizuki, the elite demons serving under Muzan Kibutsuji. Enmu is distinctive among demons for his ability to manipulate dreams, trapping his victims in pleasant slumbers while attempting to destroy their spiritual cores. His attack on the Mugen Train puts Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku in grave danger, leading to one of the series' most emotionally charged battles.
