Kinnikuman, created by the duo Yudetamago, follows Suguru Kinnikuman, a bumbling, lazy, and often cowardly superhero who is the prince of Planet Kinniku. Despite his initially pathetic demeanor, Kinnikuman grows into a legendary chojin (superhuman) wrestler, competing in brutal tournaments and forming iconic rivalries with fighters like Robin Mask, Warsman, and his best friend Terryman. The series is renowned for its blend of comedy and intense wrestling action, and its toy line of kinnikuman erasers — small collectible figures — became a massive phenomenon in Japan during the 1980s, helping to define the gachapon and collectible figure market.
