Akuma Shogun's true identity is Goldman, known as the God of Battle, who was originally one of the first Perfect Origin chojin. He frequently quarreled with his younger brother Silverman, and their rivalry culminated in a sword battle where both simultaneously beheaded each other. Goldman's soul was placed inside the Golden Mask, and he later aligned himself with Satan to become the leader of the Seven Devil Chojin and the Six Devil Knights. As the main antagonist of the Golden Mask Arc, he is initially portrayed as merciless and ruthless, treating his underlings as mere tools, though he ultimately reveals a deeper respect for strong opponents and genuine care for his followers beneath his brutal exterior.
