Kinniku Mantaro is the main protagonist of Kinnikuman Nisei, known as Kid Muscle in English adaptations. He is the son of the legendary wrestler Suguru Kinniku and Bibimba, and the current prince of Planet Kinniku. Despite his royal heritage and tremendous wrestling potential, Mantaro is spoiled and would rather play than train, often displaying cowardice before rising to the occasion in the ring. His journey from reluctant heir to worthy champion forms the emotional core of the series, as he competes in tournaments like the Choujin Olympics against formidable opponents.
