Kinniku Mantaro, known as Kid Muscle in English-language releases, is the main protagonist of Kinnikuman Nisei (known as Ultimate Muscle internationally). He is the son of the legendary wrestler Kinnikuman and inherits both his father's incredible strength and his initial reluctance to fight. Despite his lazy and cowardly tendencies, Mantaro proves himself as a worthy successor to the Kinniku throne through his participation in the Choujin Olympics, where he faces powerful opponents and gradually grows into a true hero. The name "Kid Muscle" is later revealed to be a stage name, with his real name being Mantaro Kinniku.
