Kurenai no Buta, known in English as Porco Rosso, is the 1992 Studio Ghibli film directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Set in the Adriatic Sea between World Wars, the story follows Marco Pagot, a former WWI fighter pilot cursed with the appearance of a pig who works as a bounty hunter under the name Porco Rosso. The Mamma Aiuto are a gang of air pirates infamous throughout the Adriatic Sea who are constantly pursued by Porco Rosso. They operate a heavily modified Dabohaze seaplane and are known for kidnapping young girls, whom Porco regularly rescues. Notably, the Ghibli Museum shop is named Mamma Aiuto, and the Boss character serves as the shop's mascot.
