Midorima is a key member of the Generation of Miracles, the legendary basketball team from Teiko Middle School known for their extraordinary individual talents that carried them to consecutive championships. In Kuroko no Basket, Midorima is renowned for his incredible three-point shooting accuracy, capable of making shots from virtually anywhere on the court. As a member of Shutoku High's basketball team, he maintains a disciplined practice regimen and is known for his serious demeanor, belief in horoscopes, and habit of carrying lucky items to games. His rivalry with former Generation of Miracles teammates and his partnership with teammate Takao form important dynamics throughout the series.
