Kotori is a core member of the school idol group μ's and serves as the group's costume designer alongside Nico Yazawa. Known for her feminine and caring personality, she often has her head in the clouds but is also an honor student with a remarkable talent for fashion design. She is childhood friends with Honoka Kosaka and Umi Sonoda, and her mother is the director of their school.
