Bandai's DX Chogokin YF-30 Chronos brings the flagship variable fighter from Macross 30: Ginga wo Tsunagu Utagoe!! to collectors in impressive 1/60 scale. Developed by Artdink and published by Namco Bandai Games, Macross 30 was created to celebrate the franchise's 30th anniversary, with legendary mecha designer Shoji Kawamori responsible for the game's mechanical designs. The YF-30 Chronos serves as the protagonist's signature craft, a next-generation prototype variable fighter that ties together storylines spanning the entire Macross timeline. The game weaves together characters and events from across the Macross universe, with the Chronos playing a central role in its galaxy-spanning narrative. Kawamori's design blends elements from previous Valkyrie fighters while introducing unique features that set it apart from earlier models in the series. Standing approximately 230mm tall, the figure is constructed from ABS, die-cast metal, and PVC, offering the heft and durability expected of the DX Chogokin line. It retailed for 20,000 JPY under product code 4543112863423 and features full transformation capability between fighter, GERWALK, and battroid modes.
