MegaHouse presents a 1/8 scale pre-painted figure of Nekki Basara from the 1994 anime classic Macross 7, depicting the fiery vocalist and guitarist in his Fire Bomber persona. Standing approximately 230mm tall, this figure captures Basara mid-performance, slinging his guitar over his shoulder while singing into a microphone. In Macross 7, Basara is not just a musician but also the pilot of the VF-19 Custom Fire Valkyrie, using his music as a weapon against the Protodeviln. His passionate belief that music can change the world drives the series' unique narrative, where songs literally power the defense of humanity. His trademark spiky hairstyle and sunglasses have been faithfully reproduced, and you can almost hear him shout his iconic line: "Listen to my song!" Sculpted by Pinpoint, Taumokei, and Kibayashi Norio, the figure is made of ABS and PVC and stands about 23cm tall. Released in December 2021 as part of the Macross 40th anniversary celebrations, the packaging features an original illustration of Fire Bomber drummer Veffidas, complementing a simultaneously released Mylene figure to complete the band's lineup.
