Sankyo Shouji presents a diorama figure featuring Elie and Marie from Marie + Elie no Atelier: Salburg no Renkinjutsushi 1・2. This diorama is based on a compilation of two classic Atelier role-playing games originally developed by Gust. The compilation, first released on the Sega Dreamcast in November 2001, combined Atelier Marie Plus and Atelier Elie with minor graphical improvements. A later PlayStation 2 version released in 2005 featured more extensively reworked graphics, with redrawn art from the original PS1 releases enhanced to take advantage of the PS2's display capabilities. The Atelier series centers on alchemy as a gameplay and narrative focus, with Marie and Elie being the respective protagonists of the first two entries in the Salburg storyline. Both characters are students of alchemy working to complete their studies and master the craft.
