Taito's prize figure line features Hachikuji Mayoi from the Monogatari Series in her Owarimonogatari version. This affordable collectible captures the beloved character in a compact, display-friendly format. Hachikuji Mayoi is the ghost of a fifth-grade elementary school girl who was killed in a traffic accident while trying to reach her mother's home. Since her death, she became an oddity who haunts people who feel the urge to avoid going home. She first encounters Koyomi Araragi during the Mayoi Snail arc of Bakemonogatari, and their playful, often comedic interactions—famously including her habit of intentionally mispronouncing his name—became a fan-favorite element of the series. Over the course of the story, she eventually becomes the goddess of the North Shirahebi Shrine. The Monogatari Series, written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Vofan, centers on Araragi's encounters with various apparitions, gods, and spirits following his own survival of a vampire attack. The figure stands approximately 150mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. Minor assembly is required, and it comes sealed in retail packaging as an officially licensed Taito product.
