Mothra vs. Gojira (1964) remains one of the most celebrated entries in the Showa-era Godzilla franchise, pitting the King of the Monsters against the divine moth kaiju Mothra. The film is notable for its dramatic weight, as Mothra sacrifices herself to protect her egg while battling Godzilla, who had already devastated Nagoya. The DefoReal treatment reimagines this classic Godzilla incarnation with exaggerated features that emphasize the creature's fearsome design. This limited edition figure stands approximately 130mm tall and was released in January 2019. The DefoReal Series by X-Plus is known for its high-quality sculpting and paint applications, and this Godzilla 1964 figure was also available as part of a Toho Special Effect Museum limited set that included Mothra Larvae alongside the Godzilla figure.
