Medicom Toy brings Ginko, the enigmatic protagonist of the acclaimed anime series Mushi-shi, to life in this 1/8 scale PVC figure. Released in November 2006, this collectible captures the wandering mushi master in his signature casual attire. Mushi-shi follows Ginko as he travels across an ethereal version of historical Japan, investigating supernatural phenomena caused by mushi—primordial life forms that exist between the natural and spiritual worlds. Unlike other mushi masters who seek to eradicate these entities, Ginko takes a more nuanced approach, striving to find balance between humans and mushi. His distinctive white hair and missing left eye are the result of a mushi encounter in his childhood, giving him a unique connection to the unseen world he navigates. Standing approximately 80mm tall, this PVC figure comes with bonus artwork and represents one of the few collectibles available from the Mushi-shi franchise. Medicom Toy also produced a Real Action Heroes version of Ginko, making this release a notable piece for fans of the contemplative series.
